Product Care
How is my art print or framed print packaged?
Unframed prints are wrapped in protective paper and shipped in a sturdy tube. Framed prints are packed in recyclable, protective cardboard boxes for safe delivery.
My print looks curled or wavy. How can I flatten it?
It’s normal for your print to appear slightly wavy after being rolled during production or shipping. To smooth it out, lay it flat on a clean surface and place a few heavy books on top. Leave it for a day or two, this usually helps the print settle naturally.

Printing & Framing
What kind of paper are your prints made of?
All prints are made in Denmark on FSC-certified 230g/m² matte fine art paper — smooth, glare-free, and sustainably sourced.
Glass specifications
- A3 and 50×70 cm frames use real glass for a classic display.
- 70×100 cm and 100×140 cm frames use lightweight, shatter-resistant acrylic glass for safety and durability.
Acrylic glass, commonly known as plexiglass, is a transparent thermoplastic material. Acryllic glass has advantages such as lightweight and shatter-resistant, which is why we use it for our larger frames, as it helps prevent any damage or complications.
Wood specifications
Our frames are made from FSC®-certified oak wood, available in Natural, Smoke, or Black finishes.
The tone of the wooden frames displayed in our product images is indicative only. As our frames are crafted from natural wood, variations in color can occur between different batches of wood. Additionally, due to the organic nature of wood, the color of the frame may also change over time.
Thickness of the frame edge
Frames are crafted in two thicknesses, based on size:
- 15 mm (1.5 cm) for A3 and 50×70 cm
- 20 mm (2 cm) for 70×100 cm and 100×140 cm
Thickness is fixed to ensure proper proportion and support.
Do you offer a framing service?
Yes, when you add a frame to your order, we’ll frame your print by hand — free of charge — so it arrives ready to hang right out of the box.
Why does my frame have a plastic film on the glass?
To protect the plexiglass during shipping, our 70×100cm and 100×140cm frames come with a thin protective plastic film on the surface. This prevents marks or scratches in transit. The film is meant to be peeled off before displaying your artwork.
What is a gallery border or passepartout?
PRINTED GALLERY BORDER
A white border printed directly around the artwork, creating the look of a passepartout without added materials.
GALLERY BORDER (Passepartout)
A physical paper mat placed around the artwork inside the frame. Precision-cut at a 45° angle, it adds space and visual depth between the print and the glass for a refined, gallery-like finish.
How do I hang a frame?
All our frames are fitted with two metal brackets on the back, so you can hang them vertically or horizontally to suit your space.
We recommend using appropriate screws and wall plugs that match your specific wall type for secure installation.
Important
Avoid hanging the frame by the wooden edges. Doing so can cause the frame to bend over time. Always use the brackets provided for proper support.
Why is the 100×140cm frame sealed?
Our largest size frame(100×140cm) is sealed during production to keep the artwork secure. The back of the frame is sealed directly to the frame itself, meaning the print and plexiglass cannot be removed without possibly damaging the frame.
Due to the size and fragility of the materials, we advise against attempting to open or take apart the frame, as this may cause damage.
